Novella’s seed was planted in Brighton five years ago, when guitarists Hollie Warren and Sophy Hollington met bass player Suki Sou. Completed by Iain Laws and Isabel Spurgeon, the London based quintet just published their debut »Oh Land«. Totally charged, they ponder. The sound is longing, their glances covert. Novella provide the soundtrack for that vastness, opening up in the head when you’re past 20 and life is in equal parts full of scars and possibilities. Excellent!
